A small nation, rooted in his land, with its ancient traditions and a symbiotic relationship with its environment is threatened with destruction by a clique multicultural seeking to plunder its resources. Aided by a human who literally becomes one of them, the Na'vi, initially divided into numerous tribes, combine, and throw their last forces into battle, fighting "with bows and arrows" an enemy far superior in number and armament. As the Germans to save their dying Irminsul axes Christian Na'vis to give their lives out of loyalty to their sacred tree.
See a movie in Avatar anti-white or anti-identity is in my opinion a gross misjudgment, then that's probably, with the Return of the King, one of the most films on the right in recent years. Men and women in the film belong to all races of mankind: we see the whites (in key positions, of course), Blacks, Asians, Latinos, Indians. This is America-world, the multicolored Obama, that of the coalition in Iraq that crushes everything in this universe has singular shot of M16, Coca-Cola ... and Avatar. One that might someday invade our beautiful country, on behalf of Human Rights, if he happened to choose the path of populism ... This is the humanity unified rainbow sky dream of our cosmopolitan culture which is indigenous to track down the other end of the universe to absorb them into the One, eternal struggle visions monotheistic and polytheistic.
Nous voilà pris en tenailles entre le lumpenprolétariat allogène qui we colonize "the bottom" and hyperclass nomadic crushes us "from above". Danger of being herded like extras in stock up dough into "city-scenery" to amuse the tourists happy globalization.
One argument advanced by the reactions to oppose the film is that in the sacrosanct nature idealized by James Cameron, the weak are in fact ruthlessly purged from the gene pool of the universe that the strong have always dominated and still dominate. So it is normal or healthy humans (powerful) crush and conquer the Na'vi (low). They were perfectly right about the mechanism described, but completely wrong on the perception of this mechanism. Firstly because the power is not intrinsically but is a qualification on a balance of power fluctuation. There is therefore no reason to slavishly submit to something that is only contingent. In 1941 the Germans were strong and the weak Russians. Three years later the situation had completely reversed.
Secondly because if there is a fundamental law of nature is one that forces every living being to preserve its existence, at all costs. The fatality is not in animals, instinctively struggling with all their forces to defend their lives against the dangers and predators. Even a poor rat, cornered in an alcove facing an armed mob, will jump on the attackers to save his life. As this little rat, like those Na'vis Pandora, we are only facing a host of determined enemies, and our genome commands us not to abandon it and do not give in to fate because there nothing in writing, if not the history of peoples who refuse to cease to exist.
Addendum: Marc Sich, editor of Paris Match perceived the underlying message "purity" conveyed by Avatar, finding its ideology "worrying"
" careful not to confuse", warns the Church: "Nature is a creation of God, not a god! .''short, the Church sees the imaginary planet of Pandora an apology for paganism .

"I'm working, but I can not cheer the triumph of all beings alike, all beautiful - although blue - All great, all soft, graceful and dynamic. clan warriors, hunters, archery, practicing the rites of initiation potentially fatal. Giants almost telepathic obedient to their shaman, ready to sacrifice on behalf of their divinity. wild sages who declare that men spoiling the Earth "Killed their mother." Themselves choosing a chef riding a dragon.Addendum 2: France-Soir reveals that the Vatican really do not like Avatar:
A disturbing ideology
I have nothing against blue. Dragons amuse me. Sometimes I shoot with a bow ... It's not enough to forget everything. History has taught us to distrust of ethnic perfections of the natural purity , beliefs and ideologies enchanting smokers. This, in real life, everyone admits. I do not see why I should, movies, lulled me to the brink. "

Addendum 3: the philosopher Raphael Enthoven does not like him either for ideological reasons Avatar:
"Just like the soldier whose avatar is gradually being adopted by natives, we are seeing in this film, insensitive to the metamorphosis of antiracism in communitarianism: pretext to denounce intolerance of men, the film enhances the authenticity of a civilization violent, racist and conservative , where the strongest is the chef and family structures which follow the pattern the more reactionary. (...) It looks like a scenario of Claude Levi-Strauss revisited by the National Front or the natives of the Republic . "
